How It Works
SIDY makes filling caregiver shifts at short notice, simple and convenient. Just let us know online when you need us and we will dispatch one of our qualified temporary caregivers to help. Our online platform means we can provide trained relievers quickly and there’s no paperwork.
- Retirement village caregiver calls in sick for the day.
- Manager logs into SIDY and creates a ‘shift’ to cover the period needed.
- The shift is sent to all SIDY’s registered carers living locally within a 2.5km radius.
- A local carer responds, accepting the shift and the manager can view their details.
- The carer arrives at the village and registers her time on shift.
- All payments are collected and distributed by SIDY, connected to Xero and complying with New Zealand tax legislation
